Our experts are on hand to support you from the

start of your project through to completion

Questions we are often asked

When is an F10 needed?

F10 notification is required on any project that meets the notifiable criteria.

A notifiable project is a project that:

  • Lasts longer than 30 working days and have more than 20 workers working at the same time at any point on the project or

  • Exceeds 500 person days

Why does my project need F10?

As part of the CDM 2015 Regulations, the government requires that all projects which are programmed to last over a certain time period are notified to the HSE by way of the F10 form being produced.

When do I need the F10?

The F10 needs to be in place prior to works starting on-site, we recommend the F10 is produced at least 4 weeks prior to starting on-site and includes/provides enough time for site setup.

Can Embark submit the F10 on my behalf??

We can submit the F10 on your behalf.

This is included as a core activity in our services offering as a CDM Advisor to the Client.

We can also offer this service separately. The service covers the assessment of your project to ascertain if it is notifiable and if so, includes the production of the F10 and issue to site staff for display in the site office
